Off to the races!
Le Petit Chapeau
We are off to the Queen's Plate Race this coming Sunday June 24th. We will be under a tent near the walking ring and the west gate.
Going to the races is a tonne of fun so if you've decided to attend this years race with the approximately 40,000 other people come and visit us and see our wonderful handmade hats fit for the races. The best selection is always early as we often very nearly sell out.
This year it will be our only race. Last year we drove to Edmonton and set up our tent at the Canadian Derby and had a great adventure.
Well, off to pack up some of our wares to be featured on City T.V Breakfast Television out of Toronto tomorrow morning. 4:30 alarm! Yikes!

Ist Day of Market was Great!
The first day of our HANDMADE MARKET was a success.
There were lots of people interested in what our Simcoe area artists were up to.
This coming Saturday June 16th is another market filled up with some returning and some new artists.
Here are a few pictures of the Markets artists works.
I hope to see everyone there this Saturday and thank you to all the people who came to our first one!

Re-use + Creativity + Talent
From Le Petit Chapeau
Over the years I have acquired lots of ugly hats from the second-hand and vintage stores. The materials they are made of are often very lovely so I decided that making them into new hats is a better choice. Now I know I'm not the only one who's thought of this but they are always different since the original hat dictates the final product. Here are a few examples of what I can do.
I suppose we should all considering the re-use part of the recycling concept a little more thoroughly.
